The Role of Group Sales Researcher
The Group Sales Researcher will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities to increase sales and revenue. This role involves researching potential leads, reaching out to prospects, and nurturing relationships to convert them into qualified sales opportunities.
A varied role working across the group and adding value to the 9 hotels within Crest Hotels Group.
Job Overview:
You will build and maintain strong relationships with direct corporate clients, meeting and event markets, associations and groups. Covering an area of different sectors to raise awareness of Crest Hotels Group portfolio of hotels.
Working in partnership with the Director of Sales, General Managers and Sales Teams you will add value by:
· Conducting market research to identify potential leads and gather relevant information, utilize various channels such as emails, cold calls, and social media to reach out to prospects.
· Qualify leads by assessing their interest and readiness to purchase and maintain and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system with lead information and interactions.
· Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads.
· Analyse lead generation metrics and adjust strategies to improve performance.
· Attend industry events and networking opportunities supporting the Director of Sales to generate new leads nationally.
· Creating and submitting corporate contracts and RFP’s in line with agreed rates.
· Keeping track of volume on all accounts and reviewing weekly with the Director of Sales.
· Loading rates onto Rez Control / Creating Rate Codes to support new negotiated contracts.
· Support at expos and external shows to promote the group of hotels as and when required.
The role of Group Sales Researcher will report to the Director of Sales and is ideal for someone who has strong demonstratable experience in the sales market or Hospitality, experience of working across a group and locations is desirable.
Experience & Qualifications
· Hotel / leisure operator reservations experience.
· Sales experience.
· Proven lead generation experience.
· Familiarity with CRM software and lead generation tools is a plus.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.
· Goal-oriented with a passion for generating leads and driving sales.
· Rez Control / PMS experience advantageous.

The Role of Guest Service Assistant – Nights
The Guest Service Assistant – Nights will be responsible for providing a great service overnight, ensuring that all night processes for the Front Office function are complete, support other departments with tasks that can be carried out overnight. Ensuring that the hotel is ready and in great shape for guests in the morning. The Guest Service Assistant – Nights will ensure a memorable experience from every interaction from the guest arrival or interaction to the fond farewell. You will ensure that an attentive service overnight and ensure that all security walks and checks are carried out.
A key aspect of the role is to forge a great rapport with guests from initial contact, strong working relationships with all departments to ensure great service delivery & effectively maximise revenue when there is opportunity.
The Guest Service Assistant – Nights will ensure that all processes are followed overnight and that they support all colleagues. You will support with conference clear down and set up, as well as overnight bar service and breakfast.
The role of Guest Service Assistant – Nights will report to the Guest Service Manager – Nights and will work closely with the entire hotel team.
This role is ideal for someone who is a self-motivated, has great customer care skills with great communication and time management.
Job Overview:
As a Guest Service Assistant Nights, you will be the face of the hotel during nighttime operations, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and efficient experience for guests. You will be responsible for front desk duties, security checks, handling guest inquiries, and assisting with overnight administrative tasks.
