The Guest Service Assistant Food & Beverage will be responsible for providing a warm welcome for our guests as they use the Food & Beverage outlets. The Guest Service Assistant Food & Beverage will ensure that they deliver a service of a high standard, working collaboratively and safely at all times whilst delivering quality customer service and creating memorable experiences.

An eye for detail and for delivering memorable guest experiences for our guests make this a lovely role for someone who wants to have a real impact on our guest experience. The role is a hands-on role for someone who is flexible and enjoy ‘s the variety of restaurant, bar and events.

The Guest Service Assistant Food & Beverage will ideally be experienced in Food & Beverage and have the drive and passion to create a great experience, we will help you develop and grow your skills and knowledge to develop your career.

The role of Guest Service Assistant Food & Beverage will report to the Restaurant & Bar Manager / Food & Beverage Manager and is ideal for someone who has strong demonstratable experience in customer service and a great attitude and willing to learn.

Job Overview:

As a Guest Service Assistant in the Food & Beverage department, you will play a key role in creating an exceptional experience for our hotel guests. You will be responsible for ensuring guests feel welcomed, comfortable, and valued throughout their visit to our restaurant, bar, and other dining facilities. Your primary duties will include assisting with the setup and service of Food & Beverages, maintaining cleanliness and organisation, and providing outstanding customer service. You will work closely with other team members to maintain high standards of service and contribute to a positive and efficient atmosphere.

Arnos Manor Hotel has 73 bedrooms with meeting and event space for 200 delegates, with the flexibility to cater for any kind of event. We have an opportunity for a Housekeeper to join the team working 20 hour at Arnos Manor Hotel. The Housekeeper will be responsible for being both pro-active and reactive in ensuring that all public areas and guest bedrooms are clean and welcoming at all times.

We are recruiting a Housekeeper to deliver a high standard of cleanliness, making sure our rooms are always ‘fresh and welcoming’ for our guests – creating a haven for them to escape and relax in. Hours are flexible and we can work together to agree hours that suit both you and our guests.

In this role you will be responsible for cleaning hotel rooms to a high standard including beds, bathrooms, public areas and any other duties as required.

Housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential as we can train anyone who has the right attitude.

This role in on a shift basis to ensure cover in the housekeeping department 7 days a week so some weekend work will be required.

Cook opportunity at Arnos Manor Hotel- a great opportunity for a passionate Cook for 16 hours per weekto join the team on a part time basis at this wonderful property.

Job Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes while maintaining food safety and hygiene standards. You will work closely with the Assistant Manager and Food & Beverage team to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Key responsibilities and duties of Cook

· Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the hotel’s menu and guest preferences.

· Ensure all meals are presented to a high standard and meet hotel quality guidelines.

· Kitchen Hygiene & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following food safety regulations and hygiene protocols.

· Assist in stock control, including inventory checks and proper storage of ingredients.

· Work efficiently with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy periods.

· Contribute ideas for new dishes and seasonal menu changes.

· Accommodate special dietary requests and ensure guest satisfaction with every meal.

· Ensures that all dishes are prepared consistently and according to standard recipes.

· Monitors food and operating costs and controls these by reducing waste.

· Ensures the cleaning standards for kitchen are being met.

· Ensures that operating and kitchen equipment is maintained to a good standard with minimum breakage.

· Provides fast, friendly, professional and responsive customer service to the restaurant service delivery team.

· Stays focused and is conscious about food presentation and consistency.

· Demonstrate effective food handling procedures.

· Demonstrate good knife handling skills.

· Correctly wrap, label, date and store all food items in their correct areas.

· Sets up, operates and cleans all kitchen machinery/equipment and stores it in its proper place.

Experience & Qualifications

· Previous experience as a Kitchen Assistant, Cook or Chef in a Hotel, Restaurant, or similar environment.

· Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen best practices (e.g., HACCP and Food Safety certification preferred).

· Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
