Avisford Park Hotel is a stunning 140-bedroom hotel, renowned for its bustling lounge, elegant restaurant, and vibrant function spaces. As our Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in leading the kitchen team, delivering exceptional food, and ensuring high standards of service across all dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
• Overseeing daily operations and acting as shift leader in the kitchen.
• Assisting the Head Chef with purchasing, stock control, rostering, and training.
• Managing food costs and maintaining high standards in food preparation.
• Ensuring full compliance with health and safety standards, including H&S, HACCP, COSHH, and Manual Handling.
• Reporting maintenance issues and supporting the overall smooth running of the kitchen.

What We’re Looking For:

• A Sous Chef with a passion for delivering top-quality food and leading a team.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen management, food safety, and cost control.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• A creative mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and culinary excellence.
